Niagara Falls Trip

Niagara Falls is a very popular place visited by millions of tourists each year. The falls are a world wonder and they attract a lot of curious spectators. The six million cubic feet of water that stumble on the rocky crest just between US and Canada are amazing.

The Niagara Falls is created by the Niagara River, that runs between Canada, Ontario and US, New York. The cascade measures about 17 miles (27 km) if you measure north-northwest of Buffalo, New York and it measures 75 miles (120 km) just south-southeast of Toronto.

Niagara Falls has two big sections separated by the Goat Island: the Horseshoe Falls, located mostly in Canada and the American Falls on the US side.

There is a third, called Bridal Veil Falls on the American side, but they are much smaller.

Niagara Falls has been created when the glaciers receded just when the Wisconsin glaciations ended.

Each minutes, about six million cubic feet (168,000 m³) of water runs over the big crest and goes down.
